Deck discussion for aggro elves (G)

Why run elves of Deep shadow? You don't use black mana so why take damage from them?

Stick Arbor elves in instead of the Deep Shadow. Stick in Wild Growth instead of the llanowar elves.

An arbor elf gives you one mana and a wild growth gives you one mana but a wild growth and an arbor elf gives four mana, not three. Same cost but more mana.

Turf the Jitte for Umbral Mantle. The mantle and the archdruid makes an infinite mana loop

This is my version of an elf deck http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=255931

I have to agree and disagree with some of what you say.

Firstly I agree that Elves of Deep Shadow should be replaced by Arbor Elf. I disagree with removing Llanowar Elves, a 1 drop that adds 1 mana without the need for a forest being out makes it better than Arbor Elf (on it's own), though Arbor can help break other cards affects.

I also disagree with removing Jitte. He's trying to make an aggro deck and Jitte is an awesome aggro equipment. I should know, I've faced off against them enough.

Two elves, the archdruid and the mantle make an infinite sized druid. Take that jitte!

Two elves, the archdruid, the mantle and a Imperious Perfect makes infinite 1/1 elves. Again take that jitte!

well right now the deck is green and is pretty close to it. i play 1.5 and going to splash black in the deck for thoghtseize and a few sideboard.

im going to a elf beat down that is looking a little shady atm. for now its a mix between manaramp and beatdown. im trying to decide what i want to do and i think a beat down deck would be better.

Utopia Sprawl
Silhana Starfletcher
Quirion Elves
Bird of Paradise

All these give any color so you could splash anything. Dark elves just give you black and hurt you for it. Could splash dual lands as well
