Deck Description

So I've tried to build a deck that uses Anafenza/Melira combo and the Spike Feeder/Sunbond combo for infinite lifegain with Vizkopa Guildmage as the win condition, you may notice the distinct lack of Murderous Redcap; that's due to the double black mana cost whilst black is purely a splash colour; continually perceptive readers may point out Ad Nauseam is double black too however it will fetch into all combo pieces/win conditions so I felt it was the better option.

Sideboard is there to try and hose a couple Modern Archetype decks:
Virulent Plague deals with Twins.
Kataki for Affinity.
Francturing Gust for Enchantment, Equipment.
Relic of Pogentitus for Dredge/Reanimator.
Children of Korlos helps for Ad Nauseum/Red.

Infect, and any red deck that doesn't win T3 or earlier can get hosed by the infinite lifegain/melira, not a sure thing but you aren't at a huge disadvantage in that matchup.

Only Delver is the other main Modern Archetype that I would consider the deck to be at a distinct disadvantage to, if anyone can think of a decent card to add in/siderboard for it I'll be glad to take on suggestions.

How to Play

The main combos for those who haven't seen these cards together goes like this:

Spike Feeder + Sunbond: Remove a +1/+1 counter from Spike Feeder gain 2 life put 2 +1/+1 counters on Spike Feeder giving infinite and X/X sized Spike Feeder where X is whatever you feel like.

Melira, Sylvok Outcast + Phyrexian Unlife: You sit on 0 life, don't lose and never gain infect counters basically making you unkillable unless they can either of those cards.

Melira, Sylvok Outcast/Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit + any creature with Persist: When the Persist creature dies it returns without a -1/-1 counter if you have Melira, Sylvok Outcast or it returns with a -1/-1 counter then via Anafenza, Kin Tree Spirit it gains a +1/+1 counter making its Persist ability viable again combined with a sac outlet (like Viscera Seer) you can set off an infinite combo.

Vizkopa Guildmage + Infinite Lifegain: If you use the Vizkopa Guildmage's second ability before setting off an infinite life gaining combo your opponent will lose infinite, so accordingly they can't prevent it due it not being damage and since it doesn't target opponent they can't use Shroud/Hexproof to avoid it, only card prevents the effect: Platinum Emperion and most of the time you won't be facing it.
