Deck Description

A deck based around sacrificing lots of Shadowborn Apostles for the ability to summon huge demons. Use Athreos to either drain your opponent's life quickly OR return them to your hand to use again!

How to Play

Athreos is not essential, but important. His ability to sap opponent's life can be quite handy, but in addition there is Thrumming Stone and Door of Destinies that can be very helpful.
Lots of boardwipe if needed, and Soul of New Phyrexia to keep everything indestructible.

I knew that I wasn't allowed different colours, and I've had disputes over split-mana cards, but I didn't think that lands would be a problem since I only ever use 2 of their colours

no worri lad, hepy to helpe, here is the rule: 903.4. The Commander variant uses color identity to determine what cards can be in a deck with a certain commander. The color identity of a card is the color or colors of any mana symbols in that card’s mana cost or rules text, plus any colors defined by its characteristic-defining abilities (see rule 604.3) or color indicator (see rule 204).
