Hanna: Your spells cost 1 less to cast. Starting/max hand size: +1. Starting life: -5. Type 2 deck (Standard) Because of the Vanguard effect, spells you cast cost 1 less to, making most of these creatures one-drops (and thus available at turn one). The deck features both land- and creature fetching. Discarding a large creature early in the game in order to look for a more convenient one is made even more attractive because of the Mimic vat which can be operational by turn three. The Infiltration Lenses make which can be brought into play for free because of the Vanguard advantage make blocking an equipped Mimic Vat creature more advantageous to you With any luck, the Broodwarden/Awakening Zone combo will provide you with a 2/2 Eldrazi Spawn every turn. This deck is a part of the Vanguard Challenge that I have entered with a friend. Each of us gets a Vanguard Character at random and builds a Standard deck around it. I'll battle him and his Starke (look it up) deck next week. P.s. I know, the sideboard isn't done yet. Tips are welcome though.
