Red has awesome options for cards that help you find Pike while filling you graveyard with spells that fuel it. This coupled with the standard Blue suite of spells leads to some major beatings. Given a draw in which mill only instants and sorceries (which isn't unrealistic, since they are half of the deck), you can be swinging for upwards of 10+ a turn on turn four.
