Deck Description

This is a version of U/W Caw-Go! that hansede made with infect creatures. I wanted some more synergy and possible late game options if needed, so here's my version.

- Jace for the Hawk/Jace combo. Only 3, i never like using 4 planeswalkers and this isn't the only combo in the deck so, 3 it is.
- Gideon, because he's a win condition all by himself and he just rocks.
- Venser for unblockable fun and resetting Tumble Magnets, as well as Gideon, Jace or himself if they get too low on loyalty.
- Ajani Goldmane replaced 2 Tempered steel, because not all creatures in the deck are artifacts. He heals life and pumps your creatures like mad.
- Nim Deathmantle. Caw-infect-sword-to-the-face-for-5. And it just keeps bringing back your creatures.

--Sideboard--
Counterspells are obvious, but DoJ is for aggro decks. No need to fear, you have man-lands and equip cards. Just pop DoJ and equip a Man-land. With 1 tempered steel down and a sword equipped to an Inkmoth and it's game over pretty quickly.

Ajani and Elspeth will both play really well in this deck, I'm not sure which would be relevant.. Venser, or Ajani. Ajani pumps +1/+1 counters and end of turn vigilance, comes in a turn faster and heals life. Venser, whom I love in the right deck, may just be underwhelming here. Not sure yet.

--Squadron Hawk Jace Tech--
Squadron Hawk plays really well with Jace the Mind Sculptor. The obvious interaction is playing a Hawk, fetching 3 others, putting two of them back in your deck with Jace, then fetching them again when you play the 2nd Hawk. They also get you shuffles for Jace if you have excess lands or unwanted cards on top of your deck (you can shuffle even if you don't have any Squadron Hawks in your deck to find).

The fact that Squadron Hawk can attack and actually kill 1 toughness creatures in battle is very relevant. They also allow you to not have to run any other creatures, where you can basically kill your opponent with Celestial Collonade, Gideon Jura, Elspeth Tirel tokens, and Squadron Hawks.

And last but not least, Squadron Hawk plays better with Day of Judgment. You sometimes need to play a Day with your Walls out, but you care less when you still have a pair of Hawks in hand versus having all your defenders in the graveyard. It also laughs at Gatekeepers and Bolts.
