Deck Description

The idea of this deck is to have Merfolk that help each other out and/or have islandwalk. Lots of cards to help your opponents get islands if need be. There's some great draw synergy here too.

Deck discussion for MODERN Merfolk

good deck. not quite sure that you need 22 land though... maybe narrow it down to 20. everything in this deck costs 3 or less which would make it awesome if you added white and threw in a sun titan or two.

Yeah, I may take out two lands. I have been mana-flooded on more than one occasion. Why do you suggest a Sun Titan? Wouldn't a Frost Titan or some other big creature with islandwalk be better?

Looks pretty good other than too much land. I would suggest throwing in some more counterspells and just basic blue control cards. I mean why not piss off your opponents while your playing a blue deck anyway. And another suggestion is using other creatures instead of spreading seas or aquitect's will, such as reef shaman, or tidal warrior, because they can be used in short game, to screw up your opponents land color, and if they fall behind on their mana curve.
