That's what the torpor orb is for, stops her ability from activating.
I got one word for your orb - Crush But seriously, DAM, that's a good idea, but still you rely on the orb a bit much then... the orb and pod. Any artifact hate will kill your deck, so get some counterspells.
was thinking of putting quicksilver amulets as a quicker way aswell.
