the deck is 80% green spells. If i had this ratio and wasnt all gimmicky i would STILL not use coffers. Nothing to do with handcuffing myself. The land base should reflect the spells color ratio so you're realistically casting everything. that means ill never have enough swamps to make it relevant. Unless we get to a point in the game where the high mana itself is irrelevant.

If im drawing cards and my hand is good.....I shouldnt need to tutor. We seem to have fallen into a Catch 22.

3. A card's colour identity is its colour plus the colour of any mana symbols in the card's rules text. A card's colour identity is established before the game begins, and cannot be changed by game effects. [Details(Below)]

- Lands whose type includes swamp, island, plains, forest and/or mountain (e.g.: basic lands, shocklands, dual lands, Shadowmoor special-basics, etc) also have the corresponding colour identity. As such, they may not appear in a deck unless the Commander is also of the appropriate identity.
- While hybrid mana symbols may be played with either colour mana, they contribute both colours to the card's colour identity. Therefore they may only be played with a Commander whose identity includes ALL of the hybrid symbols' colours.
- Basic land words (swamp, forest, etc) in the text box of a card do NOT represent a coloured mana symbol. They are not restricted to a Commander of the same colour identity.
- Reminder text is not included in the colour identity of a card. <------HERE
- The back face of a double-faced card is included when determining a card's colour identity.

Its usually 4 Forests to 1 swamp in play at a time. Urborg being a recent addition with no way to fetch it. SO coffers is off the table.

I hadn't considered Nykthos. Ill try to grab one.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Ill ignore demonic tutor in these calculations.

rev at cmc 6 = 1 card, increasing ambition is better at 5. with the option to FB later.
rev at cmc 7 = 2 cards, Behold the beyond is better, additional card and same cost.
rev at cmc 8 = 3 cards, behold is better Same cards, Costs less.
rev at cmc 9 = 4 cards, only time Rev is better.

And if my opponents let rev for 4 resolve i should just be winning the next turn. Which i wont be with this deck.

The discard isnt a downside. If merens out its all upside.

But assuming im not a meren deck if i do have anything left in hand and havent played it yet, odds are im not going to. so the three cards are infinitely better than my hand. If my hand IS better than what behold can tutor...why am i tutoring instead of playing my other cards?

It is legal. Extort only has a mana symbol in its reminder text. and Color identity doesnt check reminder text.

If you can get your hands on a Coat of arms add it, Lets do some Zombie math!
sac a 1/1 = 1x 2/2 zombie.
Sac a 2/2 zombie = 2x 3/3 zombies.
Sac a 3/3 Zombie = 4x 5/5 Zombies.
Sac a 5/5 Zombie = 8x 9/9 Zombies.
Sac a 9/9 Zombie = 16x 17/17 Zombies.
[Continue the scale here....]

Im going to guess since you run Sol Ring that this is for Multi, not 1v1. the Reason no one else Runs Yawgmoth's Bargain is because its banned.

Equipment's only 10% of your deck, isn't that a bit low? My nahiri is 20% equipment and i have games where i see 0 Equipment and 0 tutors. i know it plays like whitegoodstuff.dek in those scenarios but with that few aren't you just better off playing a stronger less equipment centric commander and having her be part of the 99?

My LGS is more like that these days...Everyone is just nice to everyone else...but when the store first opened up it was a different story.

yeah i know it does...its why im so scared to go below 30 currently. Heck, just that one missed trigger every other game tends to mess the rest of the game up.

Well, that was my initial question, do you know off the top of your head the average number of times her ability just does nothing when you use her(per game)? =3

Ah, i have two circles a competitive one and a casual one. i use a fine tuned Oloro for the competitive and Mayael for the casual...shes just no good in a competitive format the way i play her, not to mention absolutely no circle goes without heavy removal. Just try to think of her as a mid-late game cast and try not to force her presence if she doesn't have a shield to back her up. I will never use an Quicksilver amulet, Why waste the space when my commander is doing the same thing more effectively. If ramp is an issue my suggestions would be.
- Karametra, god of Harvests : shes just so good when my pod wont let mayeal stick, and i dont run nearly this many low drop creatures. she'd be stupendous in your build.(and mayael can grab her with her ability)
-Skyshroud claim, Ranger's path, Explosive Vegetation: All basically do the same thing, but theyre listed best to worst. "Forest" can grab your shocks, and Skyshroud doesn't force them in tapped.
Also, you didnt answer my question ^^
Just trying to figure out if it'd be a safe bet to go below my current 33, ive been debating it for some time. And your buildis one of the first ive seen that isnt tagged "Its my first EDH please help" =P

Dont take this negatively, just trying to get an idea of how Mayeal interacts with this kind of build. How many times a game does mayael use her ability and not hit a 5+ power creature? Just trying to get an idea, im kinda scared of dropping below 30 5+ powers because even then i miss her ability once every two or so games.
