Yes he can be a powerful general I've had a lot of success with this deck the main problem is just a lack of consistency. Not only does he make my artifacts uncounterable but he has a really cool synergy with Nether Void, Possibility Storm, and Blood funnel. Basically making my artifacts cost less with Nether void and Blood funnel.
Wait, dont your opponents just let the trigger pass, then counter the spell. There should be a priority window after anything comes off the stack. The way I understand it.
No, they can't. You cast the spell, then you have the trigger, then they can try to counter. The stack always works backwards.
Right, so the spell resolves the same time the artifact enters play..interesting! So if you play semblance anvil, chalice of the void and any artifact with the same CmC as the charge countera on the chalice, I get infiate cast triggers? Fuxking baller.
So I tried my own build of mishra, and got kicked out of the game by our level 2 judge. The ability is on cast, and there is a window between the ability resolving and the artifact coming into play.Thank you for ruining my evening you peice of shit.

you're countering your own spells dingus. The synergy is with Nether Void and possibility storm For EDH. He doesn't make your artifacts uncounterable i don't know where any of you are getting that idea haha
I always liked Mishra. Most people see it as useless, but it effectively makes artifacts uncounterable.
I would love to see this as a non-EDH deck.

I don't think Mishra works with getting all of the signets out since they are of different names.
