This looks fun! Might be worth splashing in blue, though. Its got some good walls, and counters to keep your Helix from being destroyed. Plus you could use Freed from the Real to fill your Helix in one turn!

Usually you only need one or two turns after you drop him for him to go off though, in my experience.

I'd replace Elixir, honestly, and move it to sideboard. It only grants you life, so you cant use it for kill, and you shouldnt need too much graveyard revival... With Life Burst, the more in grave the better.

Also, I like the name. Opposite Day. lol.

Yeah I've seen some great Wall decks on here. Theres a infinite mana combo with Axebane and Freed from the Real I saw on a friends deck that I want to toy with.

Nice. I see the endless combo you are going for with the blood enchantments, I've used it myself in other decks. I'd suggest Vizkopa Guildmage over Sanguine. He's cheaper, his ability does the same thing, plus hes a creature and can keep giving your opponents creature or yours lifelink to kill them/keep your life up.

Still, if I'm going on a budget when I build this, I'll probably leave it and Rain out for swamps and Hunters. Tutors are going to be this decks expense. lol

Sometimes things happen that are so silly you can't even be angry that you lost. My fiance once lost to a 15/15 Germ token. He couldnt stop laughing about how he was beaten by a germ XD And it was at an FNM tourney!

I cant speak for all lands, but all the rulings i've seen on Urborg, including the Gatherer's website, indicates it would automatically tap for black mana since it makes itself a swamp.

I recently saw that in another Remedy deck and keep meaning to fit it in, so you are absolutely right! lol. It is a great addition. Thank you so much for the suggestion!

Urborg makes all lands swamps in addition to their original types, so it makes itself a swamp and taps for black.

Still, I might just do that. For now I have Hunters in sideboard so I dont forget the suggestion when I go to build this IRL. lol ^-^

There's an enchantment called Freed from the Real. With it Axbane can make endless mana. =)

lol. Its got the right stuff, but I dont know about splashing in another color for one card. Thanks for the suggestion though.
