Deck Description

Note: This is a Pauper deck, built with all common cards intentionally.

So a while back CianMadgrin showed me his Gond deck (http://www.mtgvault.com/ciaranmadgrin/decks/pauper-gond-with-the-wind/) and we fiddled with it a bit. I liked the idea, and decided to make my own with a splash of red for Impact tremors. Now your elven army does damage as it hits the field!

How to Play

The goal of course is to get Presence of Gond onto your Guard and start spamming an army of elves. With an Impact Tremors already on board, your opponent(s) takes damage for every single elf, while an onboard Essence warden will gain you a life for each elf. Elvish Visionary and Explore let you draw, while Pilgrim will go fetch Gond for you if you cant get one in hand. Ajani's presence keeps your guard alive until you can spam your elves, and Pacifism helps keep big threats pegged down. Farseek helps you get the right mana, and helps with explore's ramp.

Saffi Eriksdotter + BileUrchin/Death Cultist. Abzan Combo deck. Your take?

You have to sac Saffi to make it work, so.... risky. Provided you get 4 Saffi's in play, at most you can do like 8 damage with Cultist or Urchin...

*ahem* Sac Saffi, When target creature is put from the battlefield to the graveyard this turn, return it to play. This ability goes off each time it goes. then just use the sac ability on the urchin/cultist. it's a infinite combo.

Ohhhh so you only sac Saffi once, name say Cultist, and then sac and return Cultist over and over? I see. Did you look up magic rulings on it? Just in case? Because if it works, thats awesome.

I suggest trying harrow instead of farseek, it allows you to search for two basic lands and put them into the battlefield untapped and it only costs one more to cast you may need to sacrifice a land in addition to the cost but in the long run your getting an extra land and really only paying one for it since you get two untapped lands back from it. I prefer to run it with the Elvish mystic Because if you happen to draw a forest/elvish mystic/harrow in your opening hand then you play the forest drop the mystic next turn drop another land tap for three play harrow sac a land, put two into the field and now you have two extra to play something that turn and four mana to use on T3
