I love Cats. So a while back I made a kitty deck! Its gone through several changes... my first one was W/U with lifegain cats and counterspells. But it ran terrible. Then I found the Chalice of Life/Death and dropped the U to focus on lifegain. As I originally post this, I own all the cards listed except Cavern of Souls, Spirit Link, and Honor of the Pure. Those are just better fits to what I actually have. If anyone has better suggestions, I'm all ears!
Play cats, gain life. Enchantments and Chosen make kitty tokens, as does Ajani if you get him ult'ed. Plenty of things in the deck boost your creatures to make them a threat. Pridemate can get pretty big in this deck, and with a Spirit Mantle hes unblockable. Sovereign is an insta win if you get your life high enough. Chalice is the fun part. Once its flipped, it does 5 damage each turn.

too low mana base for mana curve. 20 lands with no mana-fixing with a midrange deck like lifegain? bad idea.
I run a 40/20 range in most of my decks. Havent had any problems usually with mana for this... I have 2 4 drops that I only use later game when I have decent creatures out, and Felidar is just there for giggles if things go late and my life is high. But what would you suggest I think of changing?
Ajani, Caller of the Pride has one effect related to your life total, and it is putting tokens out.Look into other ajanis, and see if there is a better one.

also, congregate could be removed for cards that help with creatures. Path to Exile or Divine Verdict? You have enough Lifegain already. also, If you're willing to add green, Ajani, Mentor of Heroes gets +100 life as ultimate. and you can't beat Celestial Mantle for Lifegain.
