Deck Description

Uses all slivers to make them powerful and unstoppable, tries to get as many slivers out on the field as fast as possible then overrun the opponent. Sliversmith, Brood Sliver and Sliver Queen all gets more slivers to allow your army to mass. Changling is in there for a combo with sliver overlord to steal their creatures.

I play alot of multiplayer games with friends which is why i chose spectral searchlight over darksteel ingot. If i was playing 1v1 then darksteel would be a better choice.

Alot of the slivers listed here are rares and the sliver gods (Sliver legion, sliver queen and sliver overlord) are mythic rares. if you buy them individually then it costs a heap of cash. You should start with the basic sliver. Muscle and Sinew slivers for buffs. Gemhide for its mana ability. I reccomend a shifting sliver (uncommon) so that non sliver using opponents cant block your slivers while synchronous sliver gives all sliver vigilence. if not, two headed sliver and toxin sliver are also a good combo. If you wish you could start off with a sliver pre-con ($39.99 AUD) and build up from there. alot of this deck is based on slivers that came with the pre-con because of their abilities like wild pair. What i did was bought the pre-con and started buying singles and switch stuff in and out. There are many ways to build a sliver deck, an easy way is to build up with muscle, sinew and might slivers and just simply overrun and overpower your opponent. other decks can be cheap mana cost and a faster build up. Say a heart sliver and muscles for a faster game. For this type of deck, talon sliver is a must since your slivers won't be as powerful and first strike will give an instant advantage. Check out the type of sliver deck you want to build then see which cards would complement it on the Magic Gatherer.

FYI: Sliver Legion, Sliver Queen, and Sliver Overlord aren't Mythic rares. They are just rares.

When I built my sliver deck I tried to stay away from those Slivers that had a converted mana cost of 4 or more. Plenty of good Slivers left and if you really look around you can find some good cards to go with it like the Time of Need sorcery from Kamigawa that allows you to search your library for a Legendary card and put it into your hand. Or Konda's Banner that can only be equipped to a legendary creature, but gives all creatures that share a type with it a +1/+1 and all creatures that share a color with it a +1/+1.
