How to Play

This mana ramp to annihilation, has the potential to produce 200+ colorless mana. With all of the high cost cards needed for this deck to work, Cloudpost and friends is a perfect land-combo for the job.

1: To defend against those fast rush decks, you can play a land, and a Steel wall. Or if you're lucky and draw a Shield Sphere, or an Ornithopter, and play either without paying any mana, which gives you a perfect opportunity to play your first Cloudpost (because it comes into play tapped). Ornithopter is great against fast 1/1 flyers also. Glimmerposts should take care of any super fast damage done to you directly anyway.

2: Mana Ramp! You want as many Locus lands out as you can. This means, you want 4 Cloudposts, 4 Glimmerposts, copy Cloudpost with all of your Vesuvas, and Turn all of your Thespian Stages into Cloudposts as well. Eldrazi Temples will come in handy as well.

3: Once you have enough mana, which doesn't take long, you can start playing your Eldrazi creatures, which end the game very quickly. If you're lucky and draw a Darksteel Forge, and a Platinum Angel, than you can't lose, which gives you unlimited time to play your Emrakul, or Spawnsire of Ulamog's tap 20 ability, which are pretty much a game winning plays, especially if you have a lot of eldrazi cards outside of the game. Also you can start hitting your little guys with Eldrazi Conscriptions.

It's also extremely fun if you have an It That Betrays on the battlefield, and you play an All is Dust, especially if it's a Free For All game with 4 or more players all playing colored decks.

And there is a possibility of having infinite turns with Emrakul / Erratic Portal combo, as long as you have 16 lands.

9 out of 10 times I draw from this deck I play the hand. It costs a LOT (both in money, and mana), but it's a Legacy winner.

Dreamstone Hedron could be a card to look into. It ramps up your colorless mana production and when you don't need it anymore, you can sacrifice it to draw cards.
