Deck Description

This standard deck integrates the sheer force of Chandra's fury and Jace's foresight. It allows you to smite your foes using an array of weapons in your arsenal. You can beef up creatures, burn your enemies and yes even scry your opponents to death. The scry ability not only lets you see what's coming up it gives you the "knowledge and the power" to end your foes quickly.

How to Play

This deck allows you to build up your life total quick using your artifacts (the staff of the mind magus and the staff of the flame magus) because all of your multi-colored spells are both red spells and blue.

You have several ways to damage your opponents. You can build up your creatures attack power by casting sorceries and instants. Goblin Electromancer turns most of your instants and sorceries into 1 drop spells so you can quickly lay waste to your opponent.

Blistercoil Weird, Nivix Cyclops, and Spellheart Chimera all gain power from spells you cast each turn. Guttersnipe also contributes by dealing direct damage to all opponents every time you cast an instant or sorcery.

The scry ability has a new use here with the help of "Knowledge and Power." It allows you to pay 2 mana every time you scry to deal damage to any target creature or player. If you notice every instant and sorcery, as well as some creatures and even land, have the scry ability. This allows you to plan out your attack while burning your enemy down.

And last, but not least, are the famed rivals Chandra and Jace teaming up to give your opponents "Something to sCry about." These unlikely allies work well together. Chandra gives you the ability to burn your enemies and their creatures as well as copying instant or sorceries to cast as you see fit. Jace on the other hand allows you to scry your way to victory and even lets you shuffle your graveyard back into your library (unfortunately the loyalty does not use the scry ability by name so you will not be able to combine this with Knowledge and Power).

I hope you enjoy this deck as much as I had fun making it!
