I love tatterkite, it\'s ability makes it amazing for combos with -1/-1 counters, like the one here. I also love dross scorpion, it\'s a combo lover\'s dream. So now we put the two together, tatterkite + cauldron + scorpion + blasting station = inf damage. There are some other combos here, like cathodion + skeleton shard + phyrexian altar + disciple of the vault for more damage.

I don't understand why Phyrexian alter is in here, since you do not need differant color mana and blasting station allows you to sac. I would switch it out for Dross Golem for creature or claws of gix for life. pentavus would be nice in here to

I don't need the life, so gix is kind of useless. Dross Golem is useless too, it has no combo potential here at all, and it will cost a bit since the majority of my lands are non basic. The altar is needed here because sacrificing the cathodion gives you 1 black + 3 colorless, use the 1 black to activate the skeleton shard and the other 3 to re-play cathodion, with disciple out it gives inf damage. Suggested cards for this deck: Vault of Whispers (it's an artifact land that taps for B) Arcbound Crusher (Multiply those counters) Myr Retriever (Does just what it sounds like it would) Krark-Clan Ironworks (combos with myr retriever and works better than Phyrexian Altar)
The vault isn't bad, but I don't really need it, I don't have affinity, nor do I have any artifact into play abilities, nor do I have any sac artifact abilities. The crusher isn't bad if you combine it with rite of consumption but I just didn't put it in, I might later if I feel like it. The retriever, it just doesn't work here, I mean I could FORCE it to work, but i don't want to. I would have to change the shard, the cathodion, and the altar out for myr retrievers (I'd need 2 out)
and an iron works or ashnod's altar, so essentially it's the same number of cards, perhaps a bit cheaper, maybe I would have switched it out if I didn't NEED 2 retrievers (bad odds) The iron works is a HUGE no, no. The card isn't "better than Phyrexian Altar" it only creates colorless mana, HUGE no no. I need black mana to be created to work my combo, so the ironworks is OUT, unless I put in retrievers instead but I won't. Also, I know what all those cards do, and if I didn't I could look it up.
Nice combos man. The artifacts the tatter, couldron idea is awesome. Check out my Gods Plague deck and see if it needs anything.

I disagree, I have plenty of mana accel to get it all out fast. and the fact that there are 4 pieces doesn't concern me too much, I mean there are bigger combos out there that people use. I wouldn't go any higher than a 4 card combo, but 4 isn't bad.
Well, I personally think the deck is amazing. But hey, why listen to me? Quick question though, since I'm here. Could you do an artifact deck with the Kaldra combo? I'm rather obsessed with it, since I just got 2 Kaldra sets in the mail and I have no clue how to make them effective and fast, so a good way to make those work would be absolutely phenomenal if you find the time.
