Deck discussion for Standard Goblin Burn

Im going to take a wild guess and say increasing vengeance often just sits in your hand, it really isnt worth having it in an aggro build.
Spikeshot elder is also an odd addition- you have nothing to pump his power so he's just a really expensive fireball.
So if it were me I'd -4 Increasing Vengeance -3 Shock -4 Spikeshot Elder+2 Incinerate +1 Brimstone Volley +1 Goblin Wardriver.
That leaves 7 cards that I have no idea what to replace with, shrines of burning rage might be worth ago or maybe some better (non goblin) creatures.
The problem is is that Goblins lost alot of good cards with the last rotation and are not nearly as competitive as they used to be.

Oh and +2 Devil's Play for a good end game kill card.

That's sound advice. Looks like you need some long game though. As for the remaining 7 slots, I dunno if you're trying to keep it standard or not, but either way you need something past 3 mana. Brokenboysoulja mentioned some better non goblin creatures. If that appeals to you, check out voracious dragon (it's still a goblin themed card), otherwise siege-gang commander, lightning crafter, or ib halfheart are all awesome. Only other things I would suggest are classics like coat of arms, or a relentless assault for that final push.

I am actually trying to keep it standard (but I do like voracious dragon). Also, Spikeshot elder gets buffed by wardrivers and cheiftains, so I can poetnitally have 3+ power with him. I think I'll drop one or two. But I think I agree with dropping increasing venegeance. I like shrines as well. Thanks =).

Hellrider is an awesome red aggro card. hero of oxid ridge would also be good. If you like the idea of copying spells (copying brimstone after a goblin grenade just sounds incredible) you could try Chandra.

Here is a deck my friend threw together that got him 3rd at Gameday

Hmm. Chandra seemed to have slipped my mind... I'll throw in two.

Also, I would like to run some non goblin creatures, but I need for goblin grenade to reliably go off. How many goblins do you think I need for this to work?

I honestly think that you should keep the amount that you have right now. maybe even make the ones that you have three of make 4, especially the chieftain. He's the man in this deck. I personally would take out the gut shots. It's a great card, but There aren't going to be many instances where you've spent all of your mana, and you NEED to deal one damage. Shock would be a good substitute, but I suggest putting in 4 hellriders. He is an incredible card, even if you only have three creatures out by turn four, you put him out and swing for probably at least 7, probably more and you deal 4 damage no matter what. He was made for a deck like this.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on the hellriders. I have enough removal so stuff won't get blocked very much, so Goblin Wardriver does essenitally the same thing. I think I'll cut down on gut shots and add galvanic blasts.

To each his own I suppose, but this way your burn spells can be used against your opponent directly to get that "extra 5 life" that has been out of reach.

Looking better than since I last checked. If you do want a bigger creature that still works with goblins, how about chancellor of the forge? Just an idea, seeing as their dirt cheap to buy...

i personally hate paying for instants with life, so i would replace gutshot with lightning bolt to keep the quick instant damage, plus you're getting 2 more damage out of it for essentially the same mana cost.

Generally I would agree with you but this is a standard deck.

I really like this deck! I playtested it and it beats my illusions most of the time. Stop hurting my feelings...
Also, I might think about running Koth. He's a really nice utility card, getting a 4/4 on your turn is awesome, which can also be used for extra mana if necessary. +1 =)

Thanks buddy. I do see Koth in a lot of sideboards, but I don't really see the appeal to him. Is there a cool combo or sometihng I'm missing? Also, why is he always in sideboard and not main deck?

Cool deck. Its a pity Warren Instigators aren't standard, though. I would suggest making a modern deck, perhaps you could switch out some cards when you want to make it modern? Modern goblins was just one of the greatest tribals ever.

You want something to keep you going late game? Chandra's great and all but CURSE OF BLOODLETTING!!!!!! For when goblin grenade's 5 damage isnt good enough, how about a finishing 10? Its a fantastic red card, and it doesnt affect your goblin count. I would dump the elders and the a shrine for 3 curses.

Hellrider is a great hastey creature, especially with curse. Turn one arsonist, t2 wardriver (2 damage total), t3 cheiften (12 damage total), t4 hellrider (31 total damage and game), t5 curse (if needed, to finish).

The only issue I see with that is I need time to get rid of there creatures so the warcheifs and such can do their damage. Curse of bloodletting is interesting, but I think that Chandra copying a Brimstone Volley after a Goblin Grenade for fifteen damage on turn five works pretty well.
