Wanted to do something with the inspired mechanic, and thought that it could be pretty good in standard.
This deck is meant to get your sirens and followers out quickly, draining their hand and killing their creatures with King Macar and Putrefy. Pain Seer keeps your hand full. The Followers and Springleaf Drum help out the inspired mechanic while also ramping your mana up to get Polukranos huge. Simic Charm is here for creature protection, while Triton Tactics is a nice, cheap defense combat trick that also triggers inspired and slows down aggro decks. Prophet of Kruphix is another nice way to trigger inspired and keep the mana and surprises flowing. Aqueous Form lets your inspired creatures attack without fear of getting blocked and killed. Hidden Strings combos with Aqueous Form or the flying Siren of Silent Song for even more inspired triggers, or tapping of opponents things if needed.SideboardBile Blight for Token Decks, or annoying multiples of creatures.Dark Betrayal for cheaper removal against heavy black.Golgari Charm for enchantment removal or protection against boardwipes.Rapid Hybridization for Blood Baron and whenever else it fits in.Syncopate for any deck that has a certain spell that just wrecks the strategy, but likely more often for control decks.
