The only thing I can say, is that Jarad is NOT a safe general choice. I tend to try and stick to generals that won't get me killed on sight. Jarad is definetly one of those warning flag generals.
"Hey guys...I'm gonna cheatyface big doods in and kill you all with them ok?"
I'm sure you've seen Xathrid Demon resolved in EDH. same effect. Kill him now!! But if you do want to stick with him, good luck!

Lastly, you seem to have remembered Bonehoard but forgot his brother Mortivore!

I would consider adding blue.

You gain: Screeching Skaab, Skaab Ruinator, Tracker's Instincts, Dream Twist, Thought Scour, and more. These would definetly help speed you up.

I would consider removing Daggerdrome Imp, Golgari Decoy, Corpsejack Menace, and Slitherhead.

Try and fit in all 4 trolls and more Gnaw to the Bone. Gnaw helps you buy a ton of time. Thragtusk is another beater in your colors thats great with Jarad and all by himself.

I can see your point, but I think that the Bruna deck has a completely different feel to it than any of the other enchantment generals. Its also pretty nuts to one shot opponents with her every game :D

You can choose to let your Commander go to the Graveyard instead of sending it to the Command Zone. The idea behind the deck is to either use the commander as a threat, or grind out your opponents by sacrificing the general, then returning it to the top of the deck and casting it over and over again.

Yes, if your Precursor golem got hit by vapor snag it would send ALL the golems back.

So...what is the point of this if you are going to arbitrarily delete posts? I posted my 4 current builds here yesterday, went through and posted on many of the links that were here...and find my post deleted today... Kinda dissapointed...

I would love to see this turned into a Niv Miz edh deck. I run Nin, the Pain Artist (same colors) and its a ton of fun.

I would cut Precursor Golem as well as Tempered Steel. Im not quite sure what for yet... Im thinking another sun titan, 2 ratchet bombs, and another phyrexian metamorph. I dont think the tempered steel is helping you enough, and with so many decks playing 4 Vapor Snags, Precursor Golem is just waiting to blow you out. It would be REALLY sad to see you work so hard to get a ton of golems just to see them all dissapear AND you lose a ton of life ><

PS. Saw your deck from the advertise page! Keep up the good work!
GRIXIS FOR LIFE.

You need someway to destroy Leyline of Sanctity / Witchbane Orb. Throw some disenchants into the sideboard!

I would drop Coat of Arms. You already have tutorable Sliver Legion. Try a Sensei's Diving Top to improve your draws and guaranee Descendants' Path triggers. :)

perhaps some number of distress? maybe 3 mana leak, 2 dissipates, 3 distress split might serve you better.

iamerror, EDH (Commander) is a singleton format. You select one legendary creature (in this case Niv-Mizzet) and craft a deck using only cards within it's color identity ( Red-Blue) Every card MUST be a singleton other than basic lands. Its an extremely fun casual variant of magic. Give it a try!
