Only thing about that is its a high MC and if i dont have Melira out it would kill the 1/1 elves id get but its a very interesting card to think about
I am not as familiar with these cards as NorthernWarlord...can you explain how the deck works? I mean, I get that you are killing opponent's creatures with -1/-1 counters. But, can you explain the finer details. What you are expecting to get out on your turns? I like the basic idea! I see where it could be absolutely brutal. It would be fun to play against a very quick goblin or token creature deck. See if they could out pace you. Just skimming over the cards quickly, I like Blowfly Infestation. I might consider running 4 of those. I like it.
yeah with Melira out i can use black suns Zenith and have my creatures unaffected, Necroskitter is a very important card in the deck if he wasnt so expensive id run 4 of him but he lets me gain control of their creatures, Diety of Scars and Carnifex demon are the big hitters and should be easy for them to attack since most of the time i can pick off the opponents creatures. Hope that clears it up:o?
Ahh, yes. I see the combo now. Melira and Zenith. Then the big boys get through unblocked. Nice. This deck could be very devastating against a creature deck. I still say, with the added knowledge of how the deck works...that 4 Blowfly Infestation should be considered. I would dare to say that, if in play, and you play Zenith...that Blowfly Infestation will give you at least one extra kill...probably more. And totally agree, Necroskitter is a definite must for 4 copies.Good job.

Test it out, at least. Back when i played, there weren't enough -1/-1 cards out. Nice to see that Magic continued with the idea. Do they have Poison decks too? I mean...did they make more poison cards? If so, you could probably build a deck like that.
Yeah alot of the cards in the semi-new sets have infect/poison counter cards i have a blue/green one it works pretty well. I will test it out and see how it does :)
But... Melira can't die to Midnight Banshee's ability...: (

I tried to do this kinda deck mono black and it fails me every time, i think your right to splash that green for mel.....This has been a learning experience and a half, i thank you good sir! BUT!glaring spotlight? :P i love that card, any deck that requires the word target to happen, (blowfly, scar, spitter) it works well BUT you do have allot of global 1-,1-. Meh it would be sidebord anyway.

Awesome deck. I actually run something very similar apart from I don't run any green. My creatures can die, but usually I can steal enough of them with necroskitter that it doesn't really matter :). Also, you should consider skinrender! I'll post mine on here when I get a chance so you can compare notes lol.
