Deck Description

Forcing my opponents creatures to attack into mine, hopefully triggering abilities with Slumbering Dragon and Retaliator Griffin, as well as activate enchants that gain me life and lose them life.

Appreciate any advice, or thoughts you might have.

Deck discussion for Combat Control

How about a lightmine fields to kill off the creatures attacking you? I know it goes both ways but your creatures should be big enough to not care in general.

An obvious missing card is Gideon Jura if you have the money.

In a 1v1 righteous cause not worthwhile, but is great in multiplayer. In multiplayer I also recommend a Soul Warden.

Thanks for the reply.

Although Gideon would be great, I just have something against using planeswalkers, it just feels to easy to put them in and have them do EVERYTHING you need. I'd rather have a deck that flows better by itself.

I did see lightmine field actually, and must have skipped right over it accidentally. Looks amazing actually, thanks for reminding me of this thing :D

It does seem you are right, Righteous Cause doesn't seem that worthwhile when I look at it :P I do play with a group of friends, so I might put it in my sideboard for such occasions of group games.
