It's a squirrel deck that costs $100 bucks... Really?! Yeah it's got a couple of Divining Tops, an Earthcraft and a Defense of the Heart.... Why? Because every once in awhile I fail at deck building and this deck is old I built it after Kamigawa came out and man it sucks.Why am I posting it... well I'm taking it apart. I've taking 3 decks apart in the last 15 years so that means I average taking 1 deck apart every 5 years, so it's a rare thing. I hate taking decks apart, I prefer to improve them, which I will do with this deck eventually. But honestly there are some really good cards in this deck doing subpar things. And I want them for other decks.So I'm writing down the deck before I canabilize it so that perhaps one day I can rebuild a better squirrel deck.
The idea was to use Sensei's Divining Top, Wood Sage, Defense of the Heart, and Soothsaying to go fetch Deranged Hermit. Then generate huge amounts of squirrels by recasting him with Crystal Shard. And swarm in for the win. No it didn't work, and yes it was a FAIL.
