Deck discussion for Graveyard Cycle

Have you played the deck in any tournaments, how has it done? The deck looks solid and that Preator is a beast with the grave-yard mechanics you are using here. I would like to do a build around Sheoldred! Check out this deck I run using the Entomb and Exhume/Reanimate combo: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=414006

i have never played with this deck. i have looked at many other unearth decks and tried to put together the best looking combos. your deck looks fun but i see it having a small milling problem, i feel like you'd get ripped by creatures by turn 3 or 4 if you cant get a card out. thats why i have 4 vampiric tutors and 2 demonic tutors just in case i cant entomb on first turn.

I've haven't had any real problems in any of the games I've played. If I don't have a good hand I mulligan, any further than four I'm obviously sunk but never had to go that far. I've never had to go that far because I either get the cards I need or I do what I've entitled a "ghetto entomb" if I have a hand I can work with at seven or six, Reanimate/Exhume a land or two and an angel, I take a few turns to draw and discard that angel and I'm good to go.

Hi squidfreak =)
The deck looks real solid, however you need some "fatties" - big creatures with high P/T to entomb and exhume. The golden combo turn 1: Swamp, Dark Ritual, Entomb: "Target Creature", then Exhume and boom...Good Game.
Your big creatures doesn't even have to be mono black, they could be in all the colours you want =)
And I'd advise you to run a few 1-ofs such as:
"Inkwell Leviathan"
"Blazing Archon" and various overpowered creatures =)
A combo I would like to try someday is
4 x Kokusho, the Evening Star +
4 x Victimize
Entomb, Exhume 1 Kokusho. Buried Alive: Target 3 x Kokusho, Victimize... When Kokusho dies you deal 5 dmg to EACH opponent then 2 x Kokusho enters the battlefield, only to be destroyed due to the Legend rule, dealing further 10 dmg to EACH opponent, and of course... you gain all that dmg in life. If I remember correctly, they call this combo (or variations hereof) "The Nuke"

thank you for the input i really appreciate it! you really think i need more fatties?, i have godsire and i really feel that by turn 1 or 2 you got him out. why would you need more fatties? you can kill them on 3rd turn if you get godsire out. i see that if the game was going to go on longer then i would need more but its hard to get rid of 8/8's on turn 2 and 3.

also was thinking of putting in shallow graves would that be a good idea?

You're right, only for longer games would additional biggies be necessary, sorry =/
