My inspiration for my deck is Jace, the Ingenious Mind Mage. I liked his abilities and they are what I tried to build the deck around a bit. I also liked the use of the +1/+1 counters.
I use the drawing spells to help speed up the deck so that it goes fast and get lots of spells out quickly. I use the +1/+1 counters to increase the strength and toughness of each creature. I also spread the +1/+1 counters to make the creatures unblockable.
