The third Kamigawa Spirits deck, this time an unblockable/control, and the fourth in my Kamigawa series. These decks aren't terribly strong, but they're rather interesting, and quite inexpensive! The only costly part of this deck is the Keiga and Time Stop, though I'll admit I had to resist putting in Yosei... Removing Keiga drops the final price tag to about $12.
Did a search for any and all Kamigawa Spirits that had flying and were either Blue or White. Those along with Veil of Secrecy are what allows the deck to be difficult to counter. Offensive speaking, get as many flyers into play as possible and wreck their day.Early game, get Lantern Kami and pump with Kabuto Moth. Turns 5, 6, and 7 if you've got the mana in play, drop the Kirin, Keiga, and Oyobi to lay on the threat. Always attack directly, and if a creature is blocked that you wish not to be blocked, try to have Veil of Secrecy. The veil can also be used to save a creature from a kill spell in a pinch.Defensively, I personally like to make use of Blue counterspells, so Time Stop and Thoughtbind are a must. Your primary way to stay alive with this setup is to prevent damage through use of Kami of False Hope and Ethereal Haze. Drop a Honden of Cleansing Fire to increase your health.Side Deck allows for Spirits that will help gain life even more. Make use of Ghost-Lit Redeemer and Hundred-Talon Kami to gain life and return Ghost-Lit to the field for more life gain. Kami of the Honored Dead gives direct health through Lifelink. Reciprocate gives you a kill spell if you want it, and the Honden of Seeing Winds gives you card draw if you need the acceleration late game.
