A revisit to the under-appreciated Kamigawa block... probably rightly so. This is the first in what will likely be a set of a couple of cheap Spirit decks.
Burn them all. Ideally, the game would run something like this:Turn 1: Bile Urchin and SackTurn 2: Wicked AkubaTurn 3: Thief of HopeTurn 4: Skyfire/Infernal KirinTurn 5: Whichever Kirin isn't yet in playTurn 6 on: Any Arcane spell or Creature (anything as long as Distress/Stone Rain aren't the only cards you play)Opponent will loose health due to the burn spell, but with the two Kirins and Thief of Hope, you start holding your opponent nicely in check. Between Lava Spike and Glacial Ray, you start to whittle your opponent down, and your creatures start to do damage. If you loose Thief of Hope, use Soulshift to return Bile Urchin for a little more damage. If you make it to late game Kuro, Pitlord mops up. For defensive maneuvers, you have Rend Flesh and Distress. However, the deck is primarily aggro designed.Side Deck allows to convert the game to more of a graveyard play style.
