I have a King Macar that I got in a booster, and I've been trying to find a good place for him. Right now, he's in my casual artifact deck, but he dies too often when attacking (his main source of tapping). I realized that, since he's legendary, he could be a commander. The deck has a $35 dollar budget so it's getting pretty close (though the estimated value is usually above what I actually pay). The vehicles are good sources of tapping for Macar is his fellow inspired creatures. There are also lots of cards that give value with all the artifacts going to the graveyard.
