Mentor of the meek and Thraben Doomsayer are some of my favorite white creatures. I've had really good luck with this human deck I threw together.
In a perfect world you can silence people until you get a good mana pool, cast Grand Abolisher and or a decent board of humans with Champion of the parish, and removal in your hand. Then proceed to swarm your opponent or deal a bunch of damage late game with armored ascension on someone. Also for Mid/late game card advantage hopefully you can draw a mentor of the meek combine with the token generators.

I'd use Honor of the Pure instead of Obelisk. For the lower CMC and for the fact that if I have 1 Honor of the Pure on the board Mentor will still proc. If you get 1 Obelisk, Mentor is useless as every 1/1 will come into the field as a 3/3 It's up to you if it's a fair trade off. Honestly for me I'd much rather have one Honor on the Field. Burn through my deck a little with Mentor and then if I were to attack Drop another Honor or a Rally the Peasants. I like Mentor of the Meek so much I bought a set of foils so I could run two in Human deck and 2 in my Soldier deck. I'd also run 4 gather the Townsfolk instead of 2 Gathers and 2 Raise the Alarms just for the fact that you have no blanket spells that target just soldiers and you could be using even more humans from gather to Proc Champion of the Parish. Also Martial Coup is far better than Mass Calcify. Same CMC and you get creatures after the wipe. Lastly I feel Brave the Elements would benefit you far more than Silence. especially with Grand Abolisher sharing some of the job of Silence.

Hey Horizon, This deck got a little jumbled up between two different thoughts, I orginally built a "mentor" deck then it turned into a swarm deck. Your advice helped me get it on the right track. The reason I have silence its casted in there turn at instant speed and grand abolisher keeps you safe during your turn. It completely shuts your opponet down for a turn, it annoys the hell out of my friend in meta terms. Even though I love the idea it is speratic so I will sideboard them. As for Martial Coup I hate killing my own creatures (especially Fiend Hunter, cause it free's up his dude I trapped ;) )even for the token trade. I will be sideboarding it though just incase I play against another white deck.Thanks bro for all the advise.
Sorry horizon my comment was not at you, I was stating he is running enough creatures to make mastery viable. That card is popping up in modern, it's a great card
