The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

a mostly flying deck, our group now plays a strict 60 card limit

Having played this deck now it seems to struggle against hoard decks (specifically a rat deck with 4 copies of Coat of Arms)

Deck discussion for Death From Above

man, why have you got mountains in there for one card? you could replace it with Armored Ascension and just have twenty plains.

It's all good man, sorry about sounding a bit harsh before and hey, you gotta start somewhere.

Angelic Destiny sure, but since all of your creatures already have flying Mighty Leap/Armored Ascension and Griffin Guide don't seem to be necessary.

Possibly replace those with Umbras for some first strike and totem armor, and possibly some removal or protection in the Spell(s) department (Path to Exile, Oblivion Ring, Journey to Nowhere, any of the many "protection from x until end of turn" cards).

Just a suggestion. Other than that, pretty solid for casual play!

Squad hawk :) lol A> its a flyer B> can repopulate your hand. love me some squad hawk!! Angelic is great card for this deck, it dies oh look it comes back and you can beef up your next guy. For a white deck and no removal im going to say it want play that well. You need Day of judgment, Obvilion ring, dismembers. Ya its good to have creatures but you also want to control the amount of creautre's they have out. But i like the look so far.

here's a deck i need people to give a look if yall can give it a look that would be great. :)

I'd definitely go with Griffin Rider--he can be quite a beast once you start dropping Griffins.

Some older cards you may be able to find cheap are Griffin Canyon, Mtenda Griffin, and Zuberi, Golden Feather. All are Griffin-related. An adaptive Automaton might not hurt, either.

I would replace Cloud Key with Semblance Anvil. I also really like Aven Squire for flyover decks, too. You might also look into some other mono-white exalted creatures for another direction to take this in.

There are lots of great mono-white flying finishers out there. Angelic Arbiter, Blinding Angel, Archon of Justice, and a few others could give you the last push you need to get them down on life.

Good luck!

again thank you all for the input, once I get the deck put together i'll give a little feedback here as to how it plays in the real world.

Right got this one up and running now.

I've played it 6 times against 2 different opponents and it seems to be a very effective deck.

The first opponent was a Black/White control deck focusing on Life gain, unfortuneatley he needs things going into his graveyard for his deck to be most effective and he can't block flyers so that didn't go so well for him.

The second opponent was a Rat themed mono-black deck, and in short it was harsh. He has absolutely no defence against flying, and only 1/1 creatures to attack with, plus with him having 4 coat of arms cards it got to be a very silly game when I managed to get Armoured ascension, Angelic Destiny, Nobilis of War, and Zuberi in play at the same time.

The favourate trick so far has to be using Griffin Canyon to un-tap creatures that attacked so that they can defend at +1/+1 in the same turn

more feedback as it happens
