Deck Description

My first, and probably only venture into Azorius in EDH. Blue/White isn't really my style when it comes to EDH, and building this deck was really out of my comfort zone. I enjoy Gwafa's ability though, and tried to have fun with the idea of a wealthy aristocrat. This isn't so much a Prison deck as it is a "Bureaucracy" deck. I will let you play the game, but you will have to go through a whole mess of red tape first.

Deck discussion for Pennies for Peasants

Though this is cool, the bribery counters only matter whist Gwafa is in play. So you might want to find room for both pairs of boots. HECK cloak and dagger works REALLY well here.

I liked the flavor of having diplomatic immunity, but you're right that the other options are probably better...I'll have to figure out a way to get those in here.

Well, the boots..poabbaly not? But cloak and dagger sounds 100% correct. Especially when you look at this guys story. He as a large part of why bolas got a foothold on bant.

I made some changes and added in C&D and Darksteel Plate. Those coupled with Diplomatic Immunity are flavorful and should work nicely.
