Deck Description

WELCOME BACK TO HYPER BUDGET!
Decided to challenge myself; Build only decks that remain below $15, contain no rares, CMC 3 or below, no SB and could be used at a FNM with moderate success.

Today's deck starts the run of 2 color budgets first up is the first 2 colors I played when I played when I got back into MTG a year ago, G/B (Golgari).

How to Play

It is a creature deck but with some strong board control, so if possible your Wight should be a late game card as he get bigger with more creatures in your opponents G.Yard. We also have some Ordeals/Mind Rot to pump and mess up your opponents hand.

I think you should remove eight of precinct six and add either two Golgoari charm or two mind rots.

Yea I have been meaning to do that, been play testing it and I don't really like him in this deck as much as I thought I would. Thanks for the advice!

I have been trying to get my Golgari deck up and running, and tried it out at FNM (first time ever playing against anyone). I was wondering if you would take a look at my deck and give me some pointers? (http://www.mtgvault.com/squidbeard/decks/blackgreen/)

I really hate when people post links to their decks in comments, but I really like your deck and want to make mine similar.

Have you tried Sedge Scorpion instead of Slitherhead? Slitherhead can be a bit underwhelming and Sedge Scorpion can provide you with some more defense.

I will try that, I like the small utility of S.Head but I have seen a 1/1 death touch hold off a 6/6 Trample Lifelinker before...

Have you tried korozda guildmage? Your creatures don't have trample and you don't want them to be chump blocked all the time. I don't know...I'm new to golgari. Can you give me a few tips? It is budget so don't say heroes downfall or anythi http://www.mtgvault.com/mordial33/decks/golgari-budget-11-counters/
