How is this illegal? I don't know much about tournaments.

The ruling on platinum angel is that it has to be in play for that to happen. Like elesh norn, if she dies u don't still get the bonus. But the first part is cool, although there are less exspensive and more legal turn 1 wins. Like high tide combo decks

Umm Platinum Angel's effect goes away when it leaves the battlefield. It doesn't have to say, it is simply implied. Does the effect of Furnace of Rath or Abyssal Persecutor stay when they leave the battlefield? Yeah, so why is Platinum Angel different. Also, this only really works if you actually get the ideal hand.

There are so many things I see wrong with this. First of all yea this deck is illegal in any format. Two who the hell has 4 black lotus, three casting Platinum Angel doesn't make you win, her ability is only active while shes in play. So for example while shes still in play if your life drops below zero you won't lose, or if you deck out you won't lose and if your opponent gets a card that says he or she wins like in the example of the card Near-Death Experience.

Fine I will add some card that allows platinum angel not to die, make it indestructible. Anyone know a card I can use?

There no card that makes a creature permanently indestructable and unremoveable, this is why Magic the Gathering is a very blanced game. You can at best give her hexproof with swift boots, but that doesn't prevent removal cards like day of judgement, wrath of God, oblivion ring, black sun zennith etc. But the biggest problem that I see in your deck is the four black lotus. Like I said no one has 4 black lotus.

Actually, Darksteel Plate and Sigarda, Host of Herons together can solve that if you ask me.

Cute idea, but there's plenty more T1/T2/T3 win conditions that don't use a $1500 card, let alone 4 of them! Consider cards like Dark Ritual or cards that let you use alternatives for casting (like life). Here's a quick example using one creature, two sorceries, some expensive creatures, and a perfect hand.

Turn 1:
Play Mountain. Tap for mana, cast Raging Goblin.
Cast two Blazing Shoals by pitching two Myojin of Infinite Rage for the alternative cost, give the goblin +20/+0, swing for 21 damage. GG

Of course, you'd have to have a PERFECT hand, but it is doable, haha.

Its difficult to believe this deck manages to include 4 black lotus and still only has a chance of winning in a perfect "magic christmasland" scenario.

Even then, it loses to "umm.. I'll just counter that spell?". You cant design a deck with 4 black lotus and then just ignore the existence of force of will.
