Deck Description

Mono black deck with lots of nice things to use the use the strionic resonator ability on. There's actually a decent mana ramp going on with crypt ghast and liliana, but if you use strionic resonator on crypt ghast, your swamps produce 3 mana for a turn. I have the diabolic tutors in there to fetch the strionic resonator, or if you have it already, the overlord or liliana or something. I originally had altar's reap + read the bones mainboard for card draw, but i swapped the read the bones for some removal. Stab wound and lifebane zombie in the sideboard also combo off quite nicely with the resonator.

How to Play

In order to copy triggered abilities with the resonator, I need to pay 2 on top of the base cost of any ETB ability, which means this deck has really good late game potential, it's just surviving until late game that I'm worried about. My smallest creatures are the denizen at 1 cmc and the marauder at 3 cmc. So in order to stay in the game until I get my combos coming out, I usually only keep an opening hand if theres at least one small creature, with a some sort of card draw, or removal spell, and at least 3 or 4 lands.
