Deck Description

Lower your life to trigger the bonus effects of fatefull hour. If it is getting a little to low you always have blind obediance to balance it back and Faith's shield/phyrexian unlife to protect yourself. One more thing about lowering your life is that you get the oppertunity to win with 1 life! What can be funnier then that???

Deck discussion for Fates Outbreak

Blind Obedience has some great synergy with Royal Assassin and Gideon Jura as the kill/destroy Tapped Creatures and opponents creatures enter the battlefield tapped!

Too bad you don't want to go modern; Death's Shadow would slay in a deck like this.
Personally, I think you have this set too much on Fateful Hour, and not enough to get you there. One of the things that New Phyrexia gave us was Phyrexian mana. I would take out Debt to the Deathless, Killing Wave, and Heliod, God of the Sun, and replace them with Vault Skirge. Remember, you need low cost cards to get you to five life more quickly; Vault Skirge is a good start, as well as Thoughtseize. Perhaps instead of Gideon (while he is a badass card) you can throw in Norn's Annex. That'll help you knock your life down. I would also add two Phyrexian Unlife, and remove one Blind Obedience, and one Underworld Connections. Your goal is to knock your life down; you don't want to be unprotected.

Also, Dismember would be great as well. It'll allow you to pay four life and one mana, to give a creature a -5/-5.

Also one of the things about this deck is that you not need to get to 5 or less life because if your opponent is going to win he/she needs to take you down to 5 or less health anyway. I probobly change this deck anyway.
