Standard Dragon Re-animator-ish?? Was interested in Dark Deal + Waste not, and this is what I came up with...As always, every deck has weaknesses. Any sort of removal or counter spell will stop a combo deck in its tracks. Dark Deal, and Thoughtseize help to get rid of those.Dead Drop, Merciless Executioner, and Crux of Fate are for Stalling purposes... Easily side-boarded out for faster control: Anger of the gods, Bile blight, etc... Personally, I like the sacrifice mechanic. Empty the pits is in the maybeboard, because I end up with a huge graveyard. The sideboard has a lot of room.....This deck is a little rough around the edges.I wasn't aiming to make this deck competitive, but making this deck better is my goal. Any suggestions or comments for the deck are very much appreciated!
In the Ideal game...T1- Land (+ thought seize if you are up against control, if not then, waste not will be stronger)T2 -Land + Waste NotT3- Land + Dark Deal, Discarding Atarka, your opponent discards at least 3 lands, and you draw into a Fearsome Awakening, Cheat out Atraka. Of course that doesn't happen all the time, but if you Deal on turn 3, your opponent will at least have 5 cards in hand, if you go first. Which, gives you the potential to either get zombies, draw even more cards, or get more mana.
