Deck Description

****Important Note: The Sideboard is NOT necessary for this deck to operate perfectly. Those are just cards I believe come in handy for adjusting this deck to win in different situations if you have a hard time beating specific strategies.*****

Pretty simple strategy: Hit them hard with lifelink creatures+Sanguine Bond. Buff your lifelink creatures, use vampiric link on creatures like Sangromancer or other Vamps without lifelink, and swarm them with low mana cost creatures while removing theirs with Anowon and removal spells. *Win move: play Blood Tribute with Sanguine Bond out.

There is some handy removal in Feast of Blood which works well with Sanguine Bond. You may want to remove some of the buffs for more removal depending on the situation which is why I'd keep Doom Blade and Go For the Throat cards handy . Removal is very useful against decks with beefier creatures. Quag Sickness is good against regenerators and players who use totem armor.

If you find yourself needing stronger Vampires switch in Malakir Bloodwitch (2) and skim out a Captivating Vampire and a Kalastria Highborn. Malakir's summoning ability combos nicely with Sanguine Bond so this is a great substitute, and it also gives you some more flying and some protection from white which is pretty nice.

Sadistic Sacrament is useful for getting rid of your opponents "win cards". If you know your opponent is going to rely on a specific combo to swing a game, eliminate their key card (or the card they only have 3 or less of) and stop it in its tracks. This is also useful for preventing players from getting protection auras (lots of white decks have them) or other important enchantments. I doubt it will ever be useful to kick this card, because games should never really last that long with this deck. Dash Hopes is also useful for the purpose of countering annoying enchantments before they do any harm to your strategy, it also is very costly for them to try to prevent it (5 health), odds are most players won't pay that 5 life against this deck, and if they do you may be able to just play another or take advantage of that loss of 5 health.

Other important notes on the side board: Black Sun Zenith for decks with lots of fodder tokens. Leyline of the Void for regenerate decks and discard decks (there are also a lot of quest counter cards that use cards in the graveyard) This does play against Sangromancer so you will have to be a good judge of whats more important. You may want to switch Blood Tribute for Tendrils of Corruption if your playing a faster deck, and feel like you wont be able to get both Sanguine Bond and Blood Tribute out, however that is a pretty key finishing move for this deck, but I don't feel it is always needed to win with this deck. Tendrils can also be a win card assuming the game is quick and your opponent is around 14 or less health. Lastly Bloodchief Ascension can also combo well with the decks theme, but I couldn't find room for it in this deck, because I like having the buffs in (especially since Blade of the Blood Chief goes so well with the removal in this deck). Probably the best substitution would be removing the Demon's Horn, but that card is pretty handy since most players don't have artifact removal in their decks.

Deck discussion for Vampire Lifelink Deck

hmm maybe cut sangromancer for Mirri the Cursed and Vampire Nocturnus, and Gifted Aetherborn insted of child of night.

Unholy strength and vampiric link arent really necessary so that can free up some deck space.

No need to run tendrils of corruption since you already have blood tribute which can be better in this type of deck, instead use that room to add Go for the throat or Urge to feed which is a good early removal

I also think that 4 sanguine bonds are just too much...maybe cut one or two, it should not be a major win condition for your deck

I will also leave 3 vampires I enjoy alot in my vampire deck but I don't know how it would fit or what to cut in your deck
- Bloodline Keeper
- Captivating Vampire
- Gatekeeper of Malakir
