I was thinking of remaking my old Orzhov deck when I came up with an idea of adding burn to the extort.
I usually hold off on burning creatures or players until turn 5 if possible. This way I can overpay and extort players for an extra two or three life and gain that life. With Athreos, my small extort creatures can come back on the field or burn my opponent for 3 life. I threw in murders and sacrifice creature cards to deal with big brutes. Finally, I have scry lands and scry burns to draw what I need when I need it.
