Other then adding an extra land or two to help with the curve, looks balanced and much more consistent!

On this deck, I would try taking some of the single cards out, or playing more of them. I would also advise to cut the caged sun and a few of the other cards that dont seem to be helping that much. Also, in life gain decks, see if you can get a spot for ajani's pridemate, those things get intense with massive life gain!

All the red Phyrexian mana has me worried, possibly add some R/B dual lands?

No doom blade or go for the throat? I would definatly see if its possible to include one of these. In my meta game, theres 0 tempered steel and mostly everyone has cawblade. So with discard control like this, all you need is a bit of artifact hate and your set. Let us know if you try it out!

thinking of running something simular to this, has this been tested in any kind of tournement? Deck I was thinking of doing had more spell control and less creatures.

I'd worry that the mind slaver will never see play and remain a dead draw with only 20 lands in the deck, possibly consider Crypt of Agadeem? More land maybe?

the extra 6 is the sideboard, the deck itself is only 60 cards.
