Deck Description

Deck is built off of the old Draw:Go concept from the late 1990's. We are able to utilize one of the best creatues ever created in snapcaster mage to facilitate the right amount of removal and counter spell. I have used only cards that I own in this deck and this is why I do not have perfect land listed.

How to Play

The idea is to keep your opponent off the baord early with removal and counterspells at instant speed while drawing a card, playing a land, and passing the turn. During the first few turns the goal is to sculpt your hand with forbidden alchemy and Think Twice for a later game win.

Most players are going to want to play their bomb on turn 4 or 5. We are looking to play our bomb on turn 7 or 8. We protect our Aetherling if needed aginst a mirror by having a counterspell in hand before playing it. Always keep an island open so that we can phase Aetherling out for any reason. Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker will eat your opponent alive. If all else fails you can mill the opponent with drownyards, sands of delerium, and jace.

In a mirror match you bring in the Notion Theif and Duress. You will also want to side in the rakdos charm as it can empty their graveyard of anything that they would want to flash back.

Midrange decks you can use rakdo's return to destroy their hands.

Increasing ambition can be used if you are playing against a deck that has little to no counterspells and you need to find 3 cards to just end the game while you hold them off.

You have to izzet staticasters for token decks. IE, Lingering Soul's/Spirit decks. This was the only deck that scared me as you need to exile their flashback spells.
