Need help with this deck

Main Deck (18 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Can anybody help out with this deck? I'm trying to make it demon oriented (primarily around Ob Nixilis Unshackled and Maralen of the Mornsong to win the game) Anybody have any suggestions/ideas for this deck???

Deck discussion for Need help with this deck

Other cards you might consider would be Archdemon of Depravity, Demon of Dark Schemes, Lord of the Void, Westvale Abbey, Run-Scarred Demon, Elbrus the Blinding Blade, and maybe Demon of Death's Gate & Eater of Hope with Abhorrent Overlord?
You could have some black card draw through Phyrexian Rager and Phyrexian Gargantua etc...

Maybe you would like some tutoring cards, like Diabolic or Demonic tutors? If this is not EDH and you would want to add white, that could help you with Evasion, life gain, and killing your opponent. Things such as Path to Exile, Children of Korlis, Tainted Sigil, etc...

If you wanted to have more search power to push on your opponent you could splash red and use things like Redirect and Wild Ricochet. This could also give you more draw through Wild Guess, Tormenting Voice, Cathartic Reunion, Faithless Looting, and Insolent Neonate.

For Black/White/Red commanders and/or creatures you might like Tariel, Reckoner of Souls or you might consider Kaalia of the Vast.

For Black/Red commanders and/or creatures you might like Kaervek the Merciless, Lady Orca, Lyzolda the Blood Witch, Malfegor, Rakdos the Defiler, or Rakdos Lord of Riots.

For Black/White commanders and/or creatures you might like Athereos God of Passage, Karlov of the Ghost Council, Teysa Orzhov Scion, or Vish Kal Blood Arbiter.

I would need more information on what this is for, if it's for Commander or Norm 60 card decks, without those I wouldn't know what to recommend to you.

... Alright, that actually makes it more difficult.

Alright, so the only ways if you want to make Demons viable, is (Maybe?) Using Shadowborn Apostle as a way to cheat them into play. There isn't any real efficient way to ramp them out or cheat them into play unless you are willing to pay alot of cash for stuff like Show and Tell etc.

For Maralen though, I have seen her in B/W Hate Bears, when paired with Leonin Arbiter and Aven Mindcensor, limiting your opponents searches or even denying their searches in general.

I think you could get a lot more mileage out of a BW build rather than a mono-B build, as it would let you maximize reanimation effects, support, etc. Two demons I like a lot are the new Demon of Dark Schemes & slightly-less-new Mindwrack Demon. With the latter, you should be able to get delirium pretty quickly. Westvale Abbey would work great in concert w/ the Apostles approach; effects that trigger when you sac a creature would be nice w/ that. Quicksilver Amulet is another way to cheat creatures out, & even 1 use of it could be game changing. Overall, I personally would run a core of powerful Demons that do what I want them to do, while building the rest of the deck in such a way as to keep me alive 'til they hit the BF. Good luck w/ whatever you ultimately decide to run with. :)

How about Blood Speaker? It's a creature with tutor ability to get demons out of your library by sacrificing it. When demon comes into play, return it to your hand. But it also depends on what format you are trying to build

All honestly use Emrakul, the Promised End. Just take over the person for a turn and make them search their library. Also ever after to get the demons back
