Actually, chicks have a tendency to break up bands. I don't want any Yoko Ono moments here, so I'm sending Dakra home and hiring security Guard Gomazoa to help keep the riff raff out while the band is setting up.

Can't underestimate first strike in an aggro deck. It can easily mean the difference between having your dudes killed by the blockers they run into and having them mow down the blockers so they have a clean shot next time. The falconer and battle priest are also more mana, so they'd slow the deck down if their numbers went up. This deck feels pretty aggro to me, or at least that's what I'd want it to be if I was playing it, so I wouldn't want to slow it down. If I dropped anything it would probably be the battle priest because I don't value lifelink as much when playing aggro. I think I might put the Nightblade in there if it was my deck for the awesome first strike plus deathtouch combo that someone mentioned above.

or... if I focus on just using the quest to get krakens I can ditch the Call to the Kindred, which also means the hatchling can go because he was just a chump to cast that on. If I do that and also drop the instants and the waves to 3 ofs, I now have room to add the AV guy, the roady, and something every concert needs A FOG MACHINE! Haha take that flyers. The numbers might still need tweaking, but I'm starting to like this more. More creatures increases the chances of the quest getting counters and Dakra and the Starfish should help me sift to what I need quicker.

Using Unleash as a free way to get +1/+1 counters that then trip off those "Each creature you control with a +1/+1" effects is brilliant. Splatter Thug is my favorite Unleash creature, but he might be redundant here with the Ainok Bond-Kin.

Using the sideboard as a maybe board right now. I'm feeling like I might need something to smooth out the draw when Jace isn't in play to do that for me. I'm not sure the best way to go for that yet though. Divination would be nice because I get the card advantage, but might be too slow to help me early when I think I need the most help. Augury Owl might be the best choice from a play standpoint being able to scry a full 3 and then become a nice chump blocker for flyers that have me scared, but it fits the theme the least. This is supposed to be a fun casual deck, so I'm hesitant to break theme. Dakra could be nice in getting to dump things I don't want, or I don't want my opponent's to have (she could be the roady chick). Voyage's End would make a good concert security guard bouncing anyone who gets too rowdy (like those darn flyers), and in multiplayer just the threat of it with two mana up might be enough to convince someone to pick a different player to attack. The starfish is just cool because he's a friggen starfish. He'd make a great AV guy running the sound and light board keeping everything going smooth with a scry every turn. To make room for any of these I'd probably go with lowering the Call to the Kindred down to 2 of because the 4 drop slot is crowded and if Ula is rocking Call to the Kindred doesn't mean as much. Then maybe drop Whelming Wave to a 3 of (Negate and Turn Aside are also possibles for a reduction in numbers).

On second thought, I think Rootborn Defenses in the sideboard and Brave the Elements back in the main. Brave the Elements is just too good being able to both give some level of evasion and protection. Rootborn Defenses can take the spot of Brave the Elements or Sanctified Charge depending on the deck being faced if there is a big threat of board wipe.

Swapped out Brave the Elements for Rootborn Defenses so the army won't be as vulnerable to "destroy all creatures" cards.

It would mean needing to dip into Khans, but you could also look at Timely Hordemate. Most of the ponies are CMC 2 or less, so he'd be able to help get a lot of them back into the fight. Even better though, he's riding a pony!

Poor Cavalry Pegasus can't do his thing without a human creature to attack with him. Could either drop him and bump up the count on one of the other ponies or find some room to add some bros for that pony to make fly. Maybe Master of Diversion so he can tap whatever flyer or reach blocker the other guy has?

Found one even better: Shield of the Oversoul. Enchant the Hornet's Nest for lasting indestructibility so you can just keep on blocking busting out tokens. EVIL!

and what about Silklash Spider instead of Stingerfling Spider. The 7 toughness makes him easier to keep around, and his ability can be triggered multiple times to deal with pesky flyers instead of Stingerflings one "when enters". Plus the Silklash just looks cooler.

If you could find room for Mortal's Resolve it could make for some good fun. Slap that instant indestructible onto the hornet's nest right before blocking a big fatty for mass deathtouch tokens and an opportunity to do it a second go round :)
