why not wall of roots or wall of blossoms over steel wall seems like it would be better that way.

student is truly a busted card its better than you think it is and yea metamorph is shaky its one of my on the fence cards, heros grace ill defend forever here it may be a temporary lord but it is a powerful one and lording lifelink for a turn can close out games as a two of I think its not to greedy to run over wilt leaf.

Back to student though you can spend excess mana you don't curve with on him hes a scaling one drop that is always relevant that's not something most one drop creatures can say.

I think the equip cost is relevant cause the shroud is most relevant early

As for cranial plating it just doesn't combo as well with basilisk collar if I cut the mortarpod it would probably be for another longbow. But the body for mortapod is incredibly relevant and synergises with stone haven outfitter nicely.

my only issue with that is dragonstorm is n established deck and any thing I maje there is going to be far inferior but ill take a shot at it.

ehh this deck plays similar to twin where you are more waiting for them to tap out to win

most of that is snappys and land modern seems really expensive but really most of the money is in the lands which once you have a playset can be used in a ton of decks so its more of the commitment so if your going to focus on modern as your only source of magic its not as bad that being said goddamit wizards reprint the zendikar fetches so we can have some reasonably priced modern decks

I haven't tested this one I just brew decks if I thoroughly tested every deck I brew it would be a full time job I'm just hoping to encourage some more diversity in modern

an aggressive shell doesn't work and neither does a tempo shell the deck this is closest to is twin which was very much so a control shell so I think this is the proper shell

the main win con is duskmantle mindcrank and I agree that while thopter sword may be a bit much I do believe that dusk crank belongs in a control shell which is why I added the snappys

I think I'm going to split apostle's blessing and mizzium skin in the main cause this whole thing falls apart if they just kill the weird or the mantle.

And stony actually doesn't shut you down as the creature is activating the ability not the artifact it does however stop the equip

Also I'm purposely avoiding some cards so this doesn't just turn into storm. The point of this series is to explore synergies or combos that people might have forgotten about or deemed as bad at first glance

I think this deck is a lot similar to bloom titan in that it is either going to win or lose by turn 4 so it think snappys are too slow and I do have a murmuring bosk for a white source

I like the unburial rites idea not sure about gifts I might try it though and I like the idea of bosk over garden

I think that the extra card to delve is really relevant and a progenitus isn't really that great with jund and zoo being the top 2 decks I like elesh and sigarda better
