This is the deck I brought to gameday, it's something I built for cheap when bfz came out and only upgraded with what I opened from packs.I did not go in with any intentions of wining, I just felt like playing some standard.
R1 U/R Thermo thing:G1: I got a Carrier Thrall into Catacomb Sifter into Smothering Abomination into a dispeled Ultimate Price on a titi. He went thermo alchemist into visions into 2x thermo alchemist into collective defiance. I had no chance.3x Blisterpod, 2x Evolutionary Leap out / 4x Duress 1x Natural State inG2: I Duressed him and played Hangarback Walker into Carrier Thrall into another duress. He burned my walker and played a visions, then another one, and another one. After I recovered I have found myself with 3 dudes on the board, 2x cutthroat and 1x Duskwatch Recruiter and 5 lands in hand down came visions number 4 and I lost to a brutal flood.That came down to 3x alchemist and the mana flood, would love to play again.R2 G/W tokensG1: He did not know what Rogue's Passage did, I went to 3 and did 24 damage next turn.I sideboarded like a retard: what I should have done was 2x Clip Wings for avacyn and removal for withces, my only outs were the 3x lands that do stuff. Instead I sided out blisterpods as they are the worst card in the deck but I don't have more Duskwatch Recruiters or walkers, and brought in 2x cip 1x duress.G2: I mulled to 6 and so did he.I played 2x recruiter who were both met with a Sylvan Advocate into a Dromoka's Command. I did not recoverNow i went all como kill with the sideboard.G3: We were both building up our boards and I bet everything on leaping my way to enough Zulaport Cutthroats to win with an abbey. He missed lethal once and i won next turn, doing 19 damage by playing a flipping an abbey and doing 10 zulaport damageHe missed lethal, maybe because I was counting outloud and said I'm not dead next trun, but missed it nontheless.R3: G/B delirium, here if was able to get a good husk or abomination I would win.G1: He held on to removal and forced me sacrifice my abomiantion, I lost on the back of thatI brought in duress 4x and 1x Clip Wings siding out pods and not sure what elseG2: He kept 5 lands and a tracker, topdecked 2x alnguish... that's all that needs to be said....R4: U/W spirits with thalia and invocationG1: I kept 2 lands and did not draw more till I was a turn away from death, I did play like 6 cards but 2 got quelled and I lost.2x clip in and 2x duress in, he was playing pretty aggressive and so I also brought in 1x Bone Splinters, out went pods and leapsG2: he mulled to 5 and recovered with 2 land topdecks, I sticed an abomiation after casting a removal end of his turn to get quelled and won on the back of that.G3: Got stuck on 2 lands and fought invocation of traft backed up by 2 Mausoleum Wanderers, I lost.I finished 1-3, 6th and that's all I could have hoped for and with the titi that I opened it was completly worthed.The fact that 3x Blisterpod is REALLY suboptimal stung me in the ass a lot, if they were hangars and a recruiter it might have been better, especially if kalitas was coco.After that I 2-1ed b/r vampires and 2-1ed a mirrorman, 3-3 with this feels good
