Deck Description

So, after the meta shaping up and a grix mid/control budet deck started to look worse every day I have decided to build this.

Metallurgic Summonings is a card I fell in love with as soon as I saw it and after attempts at incorporating it into other decks failed I just decided to build around it instead.

The deck is mono blue because I want to spend as little on standard as possible, and really, what color would I add?

I am not aware of there being a refined version of this deck and so I just made assumptions on how it would play and built it accordingly.

How to Play

The general idea is to survive till a MAJOR turning point, from this point on you'll either be the one threatening a lethal attack, or you'll present them with an impenetrable wall with counterspell backup.

Ideally you'll draw, Engulf the Shore, Metallurgic Summonings, start winning.
This will probably not happen too often so you'll cast a few spells to survive and then on turn 8 or so you'll cast Metallurgic Summonings or Dynavolt Tower and turn the game around.

Part the Waterveil with Summonings is absolutely amazing and often gamewinning.
