Well now, this is quite close to my favorite playstyle hands down, I like pox and attrition decks better but this feels about as golgari as a deck can.Normally you'd want more bloodghasts, 3 or probably even 4 and you'd also want to play red for faithless looting. The budget is quite low imo, Overgrown Tomb and Abrupt Decay HAD to be in the deck cause while you could play llanowar wastes and smother they are worse by a ton.Smallpox acts as faithless looting. Instead of speeding you up it slows them down, and though you get slowed down as well your deck is built to survive that speed bump a lot better than most.
The gameplan is to win fast as this is at its core an aggro deck, a VERY resilient aggro deck. You can play the long game with ease seeing has how Darkblast+never dying threats make for a great offensive plan that can get through anything that isn't a phyrexian obliterator.You try to hit a good vengevine tempo/aggro turn around turn 3 or 4. From here you try to beat them down asap. If this plan fails remember that you have quite a lot of very persistent threats so just try and see the flaws in their defense and exploit them. If you do end up getting slowed down a lot know that your defense is not that strong. Most your threats cannot block, Vengevine dies to bolt so that leaves just the troll and the imp. If this does happen remember to use Grim Backwoods as often as possible on ghasts and crawlers.PS: BEWARE THE SCOOZE!
