Hoofprints of the Stag is one of my favorite cards and if i ever make control deck with white in it, it WILL revolve around Hoofprints of the Stag.Shit worth of talking about:Hoofprints of the Stag: 4/4 flyer every 2 turns IS BROKEN. And yes i said every 2 turns cause Staff of Nin is in this deck. Hoofprints is an enchantment as well, that gives it indestructible, in game one at least.Day of Judgment: since you don't run any creatures you may as well playset this.Staff of Nin: IT KICKS ASS! You get 2 cards a turn, you can ping anything small and you get a win condition that is also indestructible game one!Quiet Contemplation: if you resolve this on turn 3 against an aggro deck you will win.
TURN 2 YOU WANT TO HIT Hoofprints of the Stag. From here you just stall the shit out of any strategy and win!Tips against control: DON'T show both the staff and the prints if you don't have to, try to save at least a single counterspell in case they would try to kill the hoofprints or the staff.Tips vs aggro: Quiet Contemplation, and Day of Judgment are your best friends, if they go off in the right time you'll win.My budget decks are supposed to let you have fun! Which is what i think MtG should be about, i try to make these decks as competitive as possible while still leting you to have a blast while playing them. If you can make your friends to spend around 50$ you could buy 2-4(some of my decks are under 10$) of my decks and make the experience even richer! Also don't just copy the whole deck(you can, but if you can improve something DO IT!), if you have a better idea pls let me know, i can't always make the perfect deck and sideboard. Again GL and HF!
