Deck Description

This pox resource denial deck focues on ld more than anything and takes maximum advantage of Squee.

Shit worth talking about:
Pretty selfexplanatory, a pox deck with a twist, a combination of http://www.mtgvault.com/theswarmer/decks/budget-modern-black-pox/
and http://www.mtgvault.com/theswarmer/decks/budget-mono-red-ld-control/

How to Play

The plan is simple:
As soon as you know what their deck is trying to do you shut them down with LD, cuz that works all the time, and then either discard or creature removal, whatever you think is better.
You abuse Squee, you make it so they can't pay their deck and you win...

Deck discussion for Budget Modern Squee Pox

Oh this deck is genius. Hope you made it yourself.
If been trying to abuse Squees alot... The synergie of unearth Rats and Gravecrawlers *.*
As you did not go the green route, your deck cant include Life from the Loam. That makes Raven's Crime alot worse.
Yes you can Dredge for Dakmor Salvage but that just a 1 for 1 if your opponent still has cards in hand. By the time you have the engine it seems rather unlikely.

I think some other card filtering like Tormenting Voice, Dark Deal or Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded could work instead.
Other possible dredge cards could be Darkblast or Stinkweed Imp. Dredge 5 flying, death-touch is a nice wall.
If your going that way Vengeful Pharaoh seems good too.

Besides those minor ideas this deck is so awsome and yet so budget.

Thank you for your comment, I really appriciate it. Yes I made the deck, and about
6 other pox decks myself.
As for green"

http://www.mtgvault.com/theswarmer/decks/modern-bg-loam-pox-if-only/
http://www.mtgvault.com/theswarmer/decks/budgetish-modern-bg-loam-pox/

Yeah, crime isn't super amzing here but it does the trick well enough. There is also as scare factor to it, it forces your opponents to use it or lose it.

Tibalt seems like he could fit, I'll think on him.
I don't think I want imp here, if anywhere I want him here:
http://www.mtgvault.com/theswarmer/decks/budget-modern-squee-pox-v2/
or here http://www.mtgvault.com/theswarmer/decks/budget-modern-black-pox/
and maybe here http://www.mtgvault.com/theswarmer/decks/budget-modern-black-pox-2/
Not sure what to cut though as I have not built any of these YET. I intend to proxy them, test them and then build what seems the most fitting.
Or I'll build this http://www.mtgvault.com/theswarmer/decks/budgetish-golgari-dredgevine/

I think I will cut down on the bolts and put in an imp and a tibalt. Thank you again!

And yet you included a Stinkweed Imp :P
You cut Fiery Temper though. They seemed to blend in with all your self discarding very well.

Your 3color jund-loam-pox-v2 looks nice too. Aw some many variants
loam-pox-if-only seems expensive beyond reason.
Loam pox seems logical, but I miss Squee to much

In squee-pox-v2 Nihilistic Glee seems slow. Might replace it with another Vampiric Rites
I totally missed that card in BFZ. Should include it in some Zombie Decks...

Most other versions are just messing with the numbers of certain cards.
Mono Black seems the most budget friendly wonder if lacking Faithless Looting is to slow!?

I was messing online with Dredgevine myself:

Always trying to improve this deck...

Currently I was working on a more discard oriented build of yours:
http://www.mtgvault.com/germynator/decks/dredging-the-mind/
What you think of goin that route?

Thank you and yeah I included imps to get through the deck faster.
As for loam-pox-if-only it's an "if only" deck, this is what I would build if I won a million.
Yes the lack of looting hurts so much, the card is often draw 2 for 1 man WITH FLASHBACK!
As for me having 10 decks that are basically the same. Yes absolutely they are the same except for a few cards, I just wanted to throw as many ideas out there so that when I get around to building a pox deck irl I'll have all my ideas stored somewhere.

I'm trying it like this at the moment:
http://www.mtgvault.com/germynator/decks/budget-modern-squee-pox/

Not sure how many gravecrawlers this deck actually needs.
I would also like to see a non budget version - 3 color - including loam.
How is Spreading Algae working?

As for your deck I'm not sure, just as I'm not sure on any of mine, it really needs a lot of testing considering that you always try to stop your opponent and that isn't always achieved the same way.
Spreading Algae is a siver bullet.
Vs back decks you just win
If you draw urborg it is like a sinkhole
If you don't draw urborg it gets discarded or does noting.
Overall pretty good.
