Oh, and it hits creatures too! With this card you get so much board control no deck can recover from it, maybe except decks that run Emrakul or Progenitus.Urabrask the Hidden: slows them down and speeds you up, you'll get Moltensteel Dragons with haste!Palace Siege: takes you out of any problems, makes Rage Extractor the best card ever printed and Phyrexian Unlife becomes competly busted.Norn's Annex: a turn 3 prison card that makes them pay with life is really good in a deck where you can pull 11 damage out of your ass all the time. Btw you get 2 of those vs any deck that attacks with more than 1 dude at a time and you win. There is no way they are paying 6 white mana every turn. And if they pay with life you just blow them up next turn.
So, you want to start with your 2 drop into ideally Norn's Annex, turn 4 you want to get the star of this deck and that is Rage Extractor. This card makes anything a great card, vault skirge is a vault skirge plus a shock, Norn's Annex is a thunderous wrath and moltensteel dragon is ban-worthy. And when you get 2 of them, ha ha ha...... you win. You go like 5 to your face and then 12 to your face. And maybe 4 more. You autowin vs anything that plays slow, or just slower. Vs aggressive decks you need to go on deffensive, you need to block and gain a lot of life, not that rage extractor doesn't just win you the game but you can't count on that alone to save you. Board in slagstorm or Rest for the Weary and try to live, use palace siege for the lifegain and hope you get Norn's AnnexMy budget decks are supposed to let you have fun! Which is what i think MtG should be about, i try to make these decks as competitive as possible while still leting you to have a blast while playing them. If you can make your friends to spend around 50$ you could buy 2-4(some of my decks are under 10$) of my decks and make the experience even richer! Also don't just copy the whole deck(you can, but if you can improve something DO IT!), if you have a better idea pls let me know, i can't always make the perfect deck and sideboard. Again GL and HF!

If you need something to cut, I would suggest a bit of everything. Here are my suggestions:-1 Urabrask-1 Slash Panther-1 Palace Siege-1 Norn's Annex(maybe) -1 land, since you can cast those cards pretty cheap thanks to the Phyrexian mana.Remember, those were just my suggestions.

I cut a Moltensteel Dragon.With the draw sample hand tool I saw that usually it is harder to cast than panther and does less than Urabrask.I really want to make this in real life, it just looks soo sweet.
An interesting way to go about it is if your opponent is playing a really non-aggressive build, than you can essentially play 4 phyrexian unlife and essentially kill yourself to the point where your opponent is being forced to play an aggressive infect strategy when they really arent set up for that kind of game. Of course this is a more game two sideboard sort of strategy but you could throw 2 more of the unlife in sb with a couple gitaxian probes or mutagenic growth and make it super aggro.
That is a good idea, do you think that removing a gut shot or 2 for phyrexian unlife would work? the rest of the sb is too important to change.
Yes I have found that the only really good place for gut shot is in a deck with young pyromancer, monestary swiftspear, and even kiln fiend where you are getting essentially a free spell that gives you other effects. In this however, trading 2 life for 1 point of damage really isnt that great. Also btw does anyone know if when you are at 0 and you have unlife, do phyrexian symbols give you two poison counters or is it paying life so you dont get counters?
You can't pay life when at 0 or less life cause there is nothing to pay with.BTW gutshot was there vs lotus cobra, decks that run swords, or any annoying 1 hp dudes.
