Deck Description

So, this is yet another attempt on a Worm Harvest deck, this one uses Death Cloud.

Shit worth talking about:
Worm Harvest: after you have sacrificed at least 4 lands and cracked at least 1 land this is just amazing. It also is the hardest build around that I found. Oh and btw this is just fine if you have 2 lands in the bin.

Death Cloud and Smallpox: sure they are symmetrical effects but since when were symmetrical effects fair? You sac lands yet you have more due to having 26 and also packing life from the loam. The discard is also irrelevant because you have an empty hand or you just discard cards you can get back or don't need. The life loss is the only thing that is really bad for you, if you have the money run more urborgs and then you can run Radiant Fountain.

Life from the Loam: after both you and your opponent have 10 life, 2 lands, no board and no hand this is what ends up winning the game for you.

Epochrasite: another 1/1 that deserves a path to exile, it blocks or gets sacrificed and comes back as 4/4 swinging in 1 turn after you played Death Cloud.

Necroplasm: One of my fav cards and the card that would beat my friends ally deck(the strongest deck back when I was 11). It is an unstoppable win con (unless they exile a 1/1), it makes for a big(yes I mean BIG) threat and kills the fallowing:
Goyf, Snapcaster, Vendilion Clique, Vampire Nighthawk, Geralf's Messenger, Wild Nacatl, Sin Collector, Tidehallow Sculler, Every goblin, Goblin guide, swiftspear, Flickerwisp, crusaders, knight of the reliquary, Everything in infect, Everything in twin, Green in general, Everything in affinity EVERY TOKEN EVER, every mana dork, Leatherback Baloth, Delver, Strangleroot Geist, Eternal Witness, Young Pyro, Scavenging Ooze, Bob, finks, every aggro creature, smiter, burning tree AND MUCH, HUCH MORE

How to Play

You make sure that their hand is nothing with Wrench Mind and pox, once you move to the mid to late game you want to get a good Death Cloud to ruin the whole field, once there is nothing left you make sure you have at least 2 lands and you cast Life from the Loam. Once you start playing lands you start winning, most decks won't survive the cloud and even if they do Life from the Loam gets you back on your feet fast. You win with one of these combinations:
Life from the Loam+Worm Harvest: an army of worms that will block until it gets waaaay too big to handle and wins the game.
Worm Harvest+Dakmor Salvage: just keep retracing and dredging.
Life from the Loam+Gargoyle Castle: You get a 3/4 every turn and even through that might not seem like too much it's actually pretty amazing, especially if you consider that your opponent is playing mana dorks at this stage.

My budget decks are supposed to let you have fun! Which is what i think MtG should be about, i try to make these decks as competitive as possible while still leting you to have a blast while playing them. If you can make your friends to spend around 50$ you could buy 2-4(some of my decks are under 10$)And some are over 50) of my decks and make the experience even richer! Also don't just copy the whole deck(you can, but if you can improve something DO IT!), if you have a better idea pls let me know, i can't always make the perfect deck and sideboard. Again GL and HF!

Deck discussion for Budget Worm Harvest Deck

It looks solid, I play the Legacy version of LoamPox myself, so I'll try to keep to budget choices while keeping it still competitive and fun.

First big thing, maybe some Manlands, in particular Treetop Village, not expensive, but still very powerful, great to recur with Loam.
In the main I can see you putting in some Raven's Crime, Legacy Pox wants to start tearing into a hand Turn 1, and Inquisition and Thoughtseize are pretty expensive. Raven's Crime also works amazing with Loam due to land recursion.

I did some looking into it, and tried to find a good replacement for Nether Spirit, but it's pretty tough. The closest thing is Bloodghast, but they are sitting around $12, which is not very budget, so the next thing would be Nether Traitor, ($5ish), works pretty nicely with Necroplasm as it will eventually kill itself and thus trigger on it.

Thanks! The manlands were needed, added 2 Treetops. I cut 2 crux for 2 crime, the crux was just a weaker death cloud and got discarded all the time. For the Nether traitor I don't think I need him, he does nothing at first(i know that's how it's supposed to work) and in the late game the 1 dmg is not relevant enough, necroplasm is a better beater even through it kills itself.
The thing I'm struggling with is Realms Uncharted and partially Harrow, they seem a bit useless at times, IDK if i should run putrefy, Oona's grace or something else instead. Through I like that they let you get the Death Cloud mana and Worm harvest fodder, and I doubt that there is any other good replacement.

If you want to really abuse Deathcloud, it is with Planeswalkers, since they will not get killed by them. Liliana of the Veil is DEFINETELY the best, but not cheap at all.

The 4 mana Garruk in extended was a deck with Deathcloud, maybe try him out.
For the ramp spells, I don't think you need them. Your gameplan is to slow down the opponent and beat them down with attrition and disruption, so ramp isn't all that needed.

Every time! Every time I'm missing something and can't think of a card to put in a deck it's Epochrasite. How is it that I never ever think of that card (it's one of my favorite cards).
It works so well here, it dies to plasm and pox, it blocks early game and if it dies on turn 3 or so it comes back turn after you use death cloud! It works really well here.
Keeping Realms Uncharted here cuz it's like gifts ungiven for this deck, you get lots of lands to retrace, you get Worm Harvest fodder and you get to pick up the land you are longing for, potentially using Life from the Loam.
